1. Data Controller
The data controller is the operator of the application, Cheaptravel.cz, contact email: info@cheaptravel.cz (hereinafter „the controller“).
2. Scope of Personal Data Processing
The application Bali průvodce by Cheaptravel.cz (hereinafter „the app“) does not collect, process, transmit, or share any personal data. All data (settings, saved items, offline maps) is stored exclusively on the user’s device.
3. Device Location
The app may request access to the device’s location to display the user’s position on the map. Location data is processed solely on the user’s device and is not sent to any server operated by the controller or third parties.
Legal basis: user consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
4. Third-Party Map Services
The app uses map tiles provided by Mapbox, Inc. When downloading map tiles, Mapbox may process technical information (IP address, device type) in accordance with their privacy policy available at: https://www.mapbox.com/legal/privacy
5. Internet Connection
The app connects to the internet solely for the purpose of:
- syncing editorial content (articles, localities, points of interest) from the Strapi CMS,
- downloading map tiles for offline use,
- fetching current currency exchange rates and surf conditions.
No personal data is transmitted during these connections.
6. Tracking and Analytics
The app does not integrate any advertising networks, third-party analytics tools, or social media SDKs that could collect user data. The app uses the Sentry service exclusively for technical crash reporting; no personal user data is transmitted in these reports.
7. Data Transfers to Third Parties
The controller does not transfer any personal data to third parties or to countries outside the EU/EEA.
8. Data Subject Rights
Since the app does not collect personal data, the controller does not hold any data to which data subject rights under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR (right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection) could apply. If you believe your data is being processed in violation of applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (www.uoou.cz).
9. Children
The app is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of any changes by updating this document. We recommend checking it periodically.
